Gong Xi Fa Cai" (Happy Lunar New Year)!

Chinese New Year is coming, it is in the middle of February this year, we are going to start the big spring cleaning which is a Chinese tradition, we have to clean up the whole flat before the CNY, meaning throw away the bad old things and welcome the new good things, lucky will come.

Red and gold are the basic colors for CNY, so I chose this gold fan for the base, and made this decoration for CNY.

I used few colors of tulle flowers as the focal point on this decoration, based with two CNY red-pocket, the Chinese on there are "Good Fortune" and "Fortune comes with blooming flowers". Underneath the flowers, I put two tassels for more details.

The peach blossoms are super cute, they are cut using three differenct die sets, you can take a look on your dies and choose the few suitable. I used felt here, or you can use cardstocks of course. Did you notice that I used a real branch?

The words "Gong Xi Fa Cai" are the chipboard alphabet, colored with Distress Ink and heat embossed with UT. Finally, I added various colors of the resin flowers to finish the project.
