Time For Some Inspiration

Maya Road | Maya Road

The challenge for this month were the Sheers and Petals and the DT came up with some really fun ideas.

Speaking of Sheers, we have some new sheers coming out at CHA. Starting Thursday we are going to have sneak peeks galore. So keep checking back and I will keep you posted on the fun activities.

I hope you enjoy all the projects.

Aubrey made this cute mini album using the Maya Road heart binder and used the black sheer blossoms through out.

Aubrey used patterned paper, doddle's, ribbon and a little blig for her petals.

Fiona used the Maya Road rub-ons to jazz up her sheer blossom.

Fiona glued felt onto the the petal shapes and trimmed around the edges. Small jewels have been glued to the petals for further decoration.

Greetje made this flower book using the petals and sheers together. She used the petals as little tabs.

Heather used one of her favorite techniques on the sheers. She colored the sheers with Ranger alcohol inks and then when it's dry (and they dry SO fast) she paints over the alcohol inks with a light colored acrylic paint (white or cream normally). It makes the sheer look solid, and adds an extra level of dimension.

Heather came up with a fun idea for a Valentine decoration using the petals.

Here's a cute little gift tag that Judi made using 3 petals that she painted.

Kim painted her Alphabet sheers and added them to her snow themed layout.

Here is another layout that Kim did using the petals.

Lisa layered her sheers with chipboard blossoms too for this little hanger.

I like how Lisa used her petals as leaves on her layout.

Suzy covered the sheers on on her Layout with Diamond Glaze and glitter.

And last but not least. Suzy made this fun clock using a 8x8 chipboard page she had left over from one of her binders, petals, and a chipboard blossom.
