Timmy The Turtle Polymer Clay Charm

Deborah Liu | Mommy School

Turtles are really easy to make and adorable.  You need just three colors of polymer clay, a blade of some sort to crave the shell and a pin tool to create the eyes and feet.  These make adorable charms for turtle lover in your life.

Supplies

Take a couple blocks of the 1/2" polymer clay in green and one golden.  Set aside a little black.

Shape the back into an oval shape and press down on the table surface.  Shape the head into a teardrop.  Poke a hole on each side of the head and press a tiny ball of black into it.  Shape four more tear drop shapes and press it onto the paper.  Use the skewer to make the imprint on the feet. Create a small triangle tail.  Press the side of pieces down, and adhere to the bottom of the turtle.  Make a bottom piece the shape of the turtle and press on the bottom.

Press them all together into a turtle. Draw some shell shapes on the back. Add a eye pin on top.

Your completed turtle!  From start to finish in just 30 minutes!
