Your Own Kind Of Beautiful

Jess Mutty | Maya Road

This page showcases not only my sweet peanut but a whole bunch of Maya Road embellishments that I love. A little girl can never have too much embellishment!

I love this fresh faced photo of my daughter and wanted to use similarly bright and cheerful colors on this page.  I mixed a lot of patterns and colors, which can be a bit outside my box, especially the patterned background. The central area is one big photo mat of many layers and embellishments.

I covered a Maya Road chipboard heart with paper and layered it with a gold foil die cut heart and little arrow. The "beautiful" of the title is also a thin metal Maya Road die.

I created a visual triangle by adding separate clusters near the top of the page, both using corrugate tags as an anchor for more bits and pieces.

My favorite little touch to this page is the heart clip and dangling tassel... how cute is that!?
