A Quick And Easy Memo Board

Shelley Haganman

I love doing and making projects with everyday items! Maya Road products are perfect for just such a project. They are so versatile and can be altered to suit your needs. Here is a quick little memo board I made for a friend using some of my favorite Maya Road products!

Maya Road supplies used: Philadelphia Upper Case "K" chipboard letter, Jewel pins(TK022), Cream pleated ribbon(SPR1510),  Ruffle blossom flowers (TK1374), Hanging Chandelier(TK1216).

First I found a cheap photo/memo board at a local craft store. I chose this one because the photo could be switched out when needed. I covered the perimeter of the photo cut-out with the lovely pleated ribbon in cream. Next, I trimmed my jewel pins with a wire cutter to the size I needed them and placed them through the hole on the hanging chandelier into the cork-board.

Next I took some flat thumbtacks and glued the adorable ruffle blossom flowers to them! There are so many Maya Road products that would make incredible decorations for memo boards! It makes an ordinary thumbtack or push-pin extraordinary!! You could use letters, flowers, chipboard pieces, etc. I used my MR flowers as the center of a die-cut paper flower! They are re-positionable,cute and fun!

You can personalize your memo board by using a chipboard letter from Maya Road. I colored mine with an ink pad and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Next time you are making a personalized project don't forget to use Maya Road products to make it come to life!
