Hi Roadies! Jen Chesnick back again with a new sewing project. This time I tested out some new trims coming to Maya Road, Crocheted ric rack trim. I was lucky enough to get my hands on this new trim and it is just perfect!

This outfit is for my baby niece in size 12 months. The pattern for the top is the Hopscotch by Peek-A-Boo Patterns. I modified the top to add a ruffle to the bottom. I sewed the trim to the bottom of the top then attached the ruffle.

For the bodice I added flutter sleeves from another pattern (Boo! Grace dress) and then I added the ruffle on the front. I trimmed out each side with my pretty trim. The buttons are from Maya Road's sister company Bethany Lane. They say "I Love you Most"

For the bloomers or diaper cover I used the pattern Tulip Nappy Cover by Puperita. This little pattern is fantastic! The cover is fully lined with no exposed seams. The ruffles I modified a bit so I could add more pretty trim to them!
