Happy, Happy 10th Birthday Scrapbook & Cards Today! It's going to be an exciting celebration and YOU are invited to come along and join in the fun!

Before a party starts, an invitation is extended, yes? Well, here is yours...complete with streamers, polka dots, sequins, and balloon!

I love creating party invites, and have a few simple steps and tips for you today explaining the process behind today's invitation.

I love starting with a fresh, white canvas...makes the colors pop! I have used the new Hello Gorgeous collection from My Mind's Eye. I selected two Hello Gorgeous journal cards, one that I cut to fit behind the chipboard frame, and the second to place in the background to bring in some polka dots and color.

I then rounded the corners at the bottom of my card and stamped my sentiment from Paper Smooches. Near the top, I tucked in a die cut file tab behind my journal card. These little items are among my most favorite accents to add to my cards. I love the simple pop of color they add in just the right places.

To finish my card I added some die cut flowers near the upper right corner and layered a chipboard balloon fromCrate Paper over my chipboard frame. Sequins and an enamel dot were used as finishing touches. These lovely white sequins are from We R Memory Keepers and come with adhesive already on them, so you just peel and stick. They are my favorite!
