Fun With Maya Road Chipboard Letters

Shelley Haganman

I have quite the collection of Maya Road chipboard letters and I love them so!! I thought I would share a fun way (besides spelling something) to use your chipboard letters and to embellish the front of an album all at one time!

First you will need:

David chipboard letters(C068)

Square Banner Coaster set(C664)

Chipboard hearts(c701)

Some acrylic paint, adhesive, Versamark, and embossing powder.

Step 1:  Grab your chipboard letters

Step 2:  Arrange your letters on the front covers of your square banner piece and adhere!

Step 3: With the color of your choice paint the covers!

Step 4: I love the monochromatic look of this album cover but to pump it up a notch or two I did some heat embossing. Take your Versamark and carefully apply to letters only. Add your clear embossing powder, wipe off excess, and heat! I love the subtle difference and texture that it adds!

There you have it! A quick and easy way to use your chipboard letters for an album cover!! Happy creating with Maya Road!!
