Maya Road Beach Pail Project

One of my favorite release from Maya Road was this adorable Beach Pail album. While I was in Hawaii on vacation Caroline had emailed me that she was sending me this album and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it!

First I painted the entire album with off-white paint. Next, using a piece of white printer paper I made templates of the pieces of the pail and for the inside of the pail pages. Next, I cut out pieces of felt, paper, and fabric to make my album. I did some handstitching as well as machine stitching for this album.

To decorate the handles I used Glossy Accents and then added sand and glass beads from Martha Stewart. Next came adding embellishments and photos. When my book was constructed I added some crocheted trim on my binder rings.
