Today I will be sharing a mini album I have made using the inserts of the Chipboard 5x7 Binder and binding this album altogether using Button Hole Stitching.
Actually, I had used up the Chipboard 5x7 Binder sometime ago, but did not use up all the inserts for the project. Using 2 of the inserts, it was an easy job to build up this album structure. I then covered the album with some left over cloth.
Since I also prefer chunky albums where I can add more layers to each page, I decided to use Button Hole Stitching with Maya Road twine as well. It's so sturdy and apt for the stitching to hold the album in place!
This is one album which is ready - just add photos and it would be good to go!
Let's take a look into the album:
I love how versatile the envelopes are - they serve as a nice background and holds all the odds and ends in place. In this envelope, I placed a kraft ticket and a photo tag. There is even more room for more tags or journaling!
Here I have used the hexagon chipboards as different layers to showcase titles and photo backdrops. The hexagon chipboard set is both useful in decoration and framing photos. Add a metal clip alongside to enhance the page with detail.
The chipboard tags and speech bubbles are my favorite embellishments! Here I painted them in teal color to give a pop of contrast color with the rest of the embellishments.
On the last page of the album, I have also added tickets behind the photo mask, for some hidden journaling or room for adding more pictures.
