Thinking Of Spring

Maya Road | Maya Road

Here in Texas Spring has sprung. All the trees are blossoming and the bulbs are blooming. As much as I love winter and the cold seeing all the beatiful flowers is a wonderful site. So with spring in mind I thought I would create a fun spring card for a special someone.

The "Green Thumb" mini chipboard watering can, fence and wheelbarrow are perfect embellishments for this spring themed card. The fence is painted with white acrylic paint and accented using brown ink and a black pen. I applied green glitter and ink to the watering can and a "Green Gingham Point Blossom" to the front of the can. The wheelbarrow is covered with patterned paper, brown ink and glossy acccents. A "Red Gingham Point Blossom" is attached behind the handle of the wheelbarrow and a "Vintage Pearl Trinket Pin" was placed among the flowers with the little sentiment "Hi". Oh and I almost forgot... the sweet yellow and white checked piece hiding behind the bunny is a chipboard frame I altered with patterned paper, glitter and Stickers.

Wishing you all a wonderful day. It's "Spring Break" for us in Frisco, Texas  so I'm enjoying the birds singing during these lazy mornings.

Hugs,
Lisa M. Pace
